Ickleton is a very popular and much visited village with an increasing population of young families. The play equipment we have within our large recreation ground is very much in need of up-dating and we have an active committee raising funds to transform the space into a visionary playground that encourages fun, adventurous and active play for all abilities and ages.

 

Once the playground is complete there are also ideas to transform the unused areas around the edge of the rec into unique spaces that can be enjoyed by all ages. Woodland percussion paths, community orchards, a perimeter walkway and lots of other exciting ideas are all in discussion.
